Whoever termed this phrase, thinking of hardship, really got it wrong! We all know how much our dogs love their forty winks,slumber time and lounging and loafing around.

An adult dog sleeps on average 13 hours a day, more if he’s a larger dog. An excellent reason for providing them with a comfy, cosy bed, like Hector the Poppy and Rufus Dog Bed, not to mention saving your sofa from permanent occupation. They do wake up more times than us humans and are certainly good at bouncing, chasing and burning off energy when awake.
