News & Events: And the Winner is ……

Say Cheese and smile! A truly deserving winner, Cheese’s love and loyalty in caring for his friend
Herbie and nursing him through his grief totally tugged at our heart-strings!

A Muffet Blanket is on its way to him (he has 12 duvets, apparently, so likes his comfort).

His owner, Jo, tells us that Cheese, a Bull Mastiff, is particularly small for his breed and couldn’t be more of a gentle giant. Jo is a professional dog walker and they met Herbie (a golden retriever) and his big brother, Ralph out on regular walkies.

Herbie very sadly lost Ralph (pictured in the middle in the photo to the left) recently after a sudden illness. Cheese has done a wicked job of cheering Herbie up and giving him lots of massive slobbery kisses and hours of wrestling fun! They are 100% totally in love with each other and snuggle just as much as they wrestle so his owner thought they should definitely win the cutest couple comp! We had to agree!

Choosing the overall winner was so tricky as there were some great stories and gorgeous photos.

It was so hard to choose, we have given a runner up prize of a Sox, our microfiber travel towel in a similar heart shaped bag to Frank and Arthur with such a gorgeous comment. We also especially loved Millie and George dancing in the snow displaying true joy and happiness! We could go on and on …
