Out & About: Two Magpies and one wag-tail!

Here I am on a recent trip to Southwold, Suffolk, outside the simply heavenly Two Magpies Bakery. It’s exciting enough to come across such a gem of a place, but when they happily welcome in dogs too it becomes the jewel in the crown!

Run by a husband and wife team,the attention to detail, expertise and obvious love of their business stand out instantly. The food, all sourced locally and baked/cooked on the premises is to die for; I can detect the whiff of butter melting into warm toast from miles away, so was almost swooning when we went for breakfast!

Louise, on the other hand, was also swooning over their gorgeous 16 seater cafe; in their own words, ‘ the exciting, contemporary interior with care and attention to detail that we feel compliments our products’ is just how we feel about Poppy & Rufus.
